Accessibility Statement
Effective date:
Embroidery Digitizing Services (“EDS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to making embroiderydigitizingservices.co (the “Site”) usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology. This statement describes our approach, what we have done, and how to reach us if something on the Site does not work for you.
Our Commitment
We want the Site to be usable by every visitor, including people who rely on a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technology to browse the web. Accessibility is treated as a design requirement, not an afterthought, when we build and update pages on the Site.
Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone. Conformance is an ongoing goal we work toward across the Site rather than a status we consider permanently finished.
Measures We Have Taken
Steps we take when building and maintaining the Site include:
- Using semantic HTML markup, such as headings, landmarks, and lists, so page structure and content are conveyed to assistive technology, not just sighted users
- Providing descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images
- Labeling form fields, including the order upload form, so they can be understood and completed with a screen reader
- Supporting keyboard navigation for interactive elements such as menus and buttons
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and its background
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. This can include pages that have not been updated recently, or content supplied by a third-party tool embedded on the Site. We are working through these areas over time, and we welcome reports of any specific page or feature that is difficult to use.
Third-Party Content
The Site includes some content and tools operated by third parties, such as our review-collection widget. We cannot fully control the accessibility of tools we do not build ourselves, but we choose vendors with accessibility in mind where we can and will follow up with a vendor if an issue is reported to us.
Technical Specifications
Accessibility on the Site relies on the following technologies working together in your browser: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the Site. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know the page and a description of the issue so we can look into it.
