PATCH & BADGE DIGITIZING

Patch & Badge Files

Patches carry the most layering per square inch of anything we digitize. Borders, banners and fine linework all have to sequence in the right order or detail gets buried under later passes.

These are digitizing file quality samples, not product listings. We digitize patch and badge files; we do not manufacture or sell finished patches.

APPLIQUÉ & CHENILLE

Appliqué & Chenille Files

Appliqué and chenille both trade pure thread density for texture. Placement lines, tackdown stitches and loop height all have to be dialed in before a single chenille pass runs.

Digital previews look good on every design. A sewn stitch-out is the only version that tells you whether the underlay held, whether the density was right for the fabric, and whether the small text stayed readable. From our Los Angeles shop to machines worldwide, our digitizers have been doing this work for nearly 10 years, and this is the part of it that can be checked.

FROM CUSTOMERS

What shops say after the first stitch-out

Just ran the test sew-out on a polo and it stitched perfectly on the first try. No thread breaks, no weird jump stitches to clean up. Thanks for getting it back to me so fast, you saved me on a tight deadline.

Danny Harris,Alo Yoga

Finally, a digitizer that just sends a good file the first time. The jacket back file ran incredibly smooth on our machines and laid perfectly flat. Love the flat pricing too, makes quoting my own clients easier.

FAQ

Questions about these files

Browse by category

[ Real Orders ] Is every stitch-out on this page from a real order?

Yes. Every case shows the artwork we received, the file we built from it, and a photo of that same file sewn out. None of these are stock samples.

[ Patches ] Do you manufacture or sell the patches shown in the Patch & Badge section?

No. We digitize patch and badge files. The stitch-out photos in that section exist to prove file quality, not to sell finished patches. We do not manufacture or sell physical patches.

[ Pricing ] What does a design like this cost to digitize?

Flat rate by size and complexity: $15 for Standard designs like left-chest logos and caps, $25 for Portrait designs like badges and detailed artwork, and $60 for Full Size designs like jacket backs and large event logos. There is no per-stitch pricing.

[ Turnaround ] How fast can you turn around a file like the ones shown here?

Rush jobs are digitized in 1 to 2 hours at no additional charge. Complex files take up to 8 hours, and complicated jacket backs take up to 12 hours.

[ Revisions ] What if my stitch-out doesn’t come out the way I expected?

Revisions are free and unlimited. We adjust the file until it runs clean on your machine.

[ File Formats ] What file formats do you deliver?

DST for Tajima, PES for Brother/Babylock, JEF for Janome, EXP for Melco/Bernina, VP3 for Husqvarna Viking/Pfaff, XXX for Singer, and ART for Bernina, delivered together with every order.
