Refund & Billing Policy
Effective date:
Embroidery Digitizing Services (“EDS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) bills differently than most businesses because we deliver before we invoice. This page explains how that works, why it changes the way refunds work, and what to do if a file needs fixing.
Pay After Delivery
Every order runs on the same model: we build the file first, and you pay after. Nothing about that changes based on order size or price tier. Because the invoice comes after delivery instead of before it, the usual reasons for a post-payment refund mostly don’t apply here.
No Upfront Charges
You don’t enter payment details or pay anything when you submit artwork. Upload your design, choose your tier, and production starts with no card on file and no deposit held.
Review Before You Pay
We digitize your artwork, check it, and deliver the finished embroidery files to your inbox, invoice included. You have the completed file in hand before any money changes hands, not the other way around.
Final Sale, Once Delivered
Because you receive, review, and can already use the file before you’re ever invoiced, completed orders are final. We don’t process refunds on delivered work. If something about the file isn’t right, the fix is a revision, not a reversal, and revisions are unlimited and free.
What Covers You Instead: Unlimited Free Revisions
If a delivered file doesn’t sew the way it should on your specific machine, that’s exactly what revisions are for. Tell us what happened, thread breaks, pulling, letters closing up, registration drifting, and we adjust density, pull compensation, pathing, or whatever the fabric and machine actually need. There’s no charge and no cap on how many rounds it takes to get it right.
Billing and Invoicing
Invoices go out once your file is delivered, priced at one of our flat rates: $15 Standard, $25 Portrait, or $60 Full Size. If you pay online, a third-party payment processor handles the transaction; we don’t collect or store your full card number. Shops sending regular work can move from per-order invoicing to monthly billing.
Contact Us
Questions about an invoice or a charge on your statement? Reach out before disputing it with your bank or card issuer. A chargeback on work you’ve already received takes longer to resolve for everyone than just telling us what’s wrong.
