Logo digitizing for embroidery is the job of turning your logo into a stitch file for an embroidery machine. Think of the file as a set of instructions. It tells the machine where to put each stitch, which thread color to use, and what order to sew in.
A machine cannot read a normal picture like a JPG or PNG on its own. It only understands a stitch file. So before your logo can be sewn onto a shirt, a hat, or a jacket, someone has to build that file first. That is digitizing. It is not a button you press. A real person plans out every stitch.

We map out the artwork
We break your logo into parts: the letters, the shapes, the small details. Then we plan the order the machine sews them in, called the stitch path. A smart path keeps the design clean instead of jumping around.
We pick the right stitch for each part
Thin lines and letters get a satin stitch, smooth like ribbon. Big filled shapes get a fill stitch, made of many rows. The right stitch for each part is what makes a logo look sharp instead of lumpy.
We set the underlay and density
Underlay is a hidden layer of stitches under the ones you see, and it holds the fabric flat. Density is how close together the stitches sit. We set both to match your exact fabric, so nothing puckers or gaps.
We add pull compensation
Thread pulls the fabric a little as it sews, which can squeeze shapes thinner than they should be. We widen certain shapes on purpose to cancel that out, so a circle comes out a real circle.
What makes a logo ready to digitize
You do not need to fix your logo yourself. Send us the best version you have and we will tell you if anything needs a change. A few things help:
A clear image
A big, sharp file works better than a small, blurry one.
Simple shapes
Thread cannot show tiny detail the way a printer can. Very small text may need to be made a little bigger.
A few solid colors
Each color is sewn one at a time. Photos and color fades are hard to sew and usually need to be simplified first.
The original file, if you have it
A vector file like AI, EPS or SVG is cleanest. A good JPG or PNG works too.

How much does it cost to digitize a logo?
A standard logo costs $15, flat. Bigger or more detailed designs cost $25 or $60, depending on size. Your first simple logo is $5, so you can try us out.
How long does it take?
A rush logo comes back in 1 to 2 hours, with no extra charge. More complex files take up to 8 hours, and large jacket backs up to 12 hours.
Can you digitize a small or detailed logo?
Yes. Very small text or thin lines may need to be made a little bigger, so the thread can show them clearly. We tell you before we start if anything needs a change.
Will my logo file work on my machine?
Yes. Tell us your machine brand and we send the matching file: DST for Tajima, PES for Brother and Babylock, JEF for Janome, and more.
